AC75 Simulator Pod (2020)

Starting from COR36 team design and layout, we had the chance to design, calculate and engineering the composite pod of this AC75 Simulator, that was set up in Auckland for the 36th America’s Cup Village.
As a public ride, safety and strenght were the main targets, but also lightweight was fulfilled, in order to achieve requested simulation perfomance.
Another big input was the option to switch from 4 seats to 3 seats and 1 wheelchair, aiming to entertain all attendees.
Special thanks to Matteo Plazzi, the project manager Giovanni Mascetti and the builder Bert Mauri.
